Data and integrations

Where we get prices and promotions, which chains we cover, how we keep the data clean – and how it reaches your systems.

Two kinds of sources

Ongoing monitoring of retail chains, plus collection from online stores on your list

Ongoing

Retail chains

We collect prices and promotions from public sources. By default this is the chain-wide price; on request, the price at a specific store (not available for every chain), which also shows chain and brand presence by region and city.

  • Regular and promo price
  • Promotion type, depth and duration
  • On request: store, city and region
One-off or ongoing · on request

Online stores and marketplaces

Collection from websites on a list you provide. Launch timing and output format are agreed separately to suit the volume.

  • Price, promotion and, if needed, availability
  • You provide the list of sites and products
  • Same formats: cabinet, Excel/CSV, API

Update frequency and history depth

Price history is an asset that compounds: it can’t be collected retroactively, so we record prices regularly and keep the whole archive.

Collection timedate and time are stored for every record

One product, one item

Every chain names a product its own way; in the cabinet you see it as one item with prices across all chains

  1. A single catalogue

The same product in different chains is merged into one card, so you compare prices, not names

  2. Verified data

We keep checking catalogue accuracy, so similar-but-different products never end up in one comparison

  3. Your product master

If needed, we map products to your internal codes so the data drops straight into your reports

Data quality control

Before data reaches the cabinet or a file, it is checked for completeness and correctness.

  • Completeness checks: all chains, stores and products on the list are collected
  • Automatic price sanity checks
  • Regular and promo prices kept apart
  • Date, time and source stored for every record

Being honest about the limits

A chain’s online price can differ from the shelf tag in a particular store because of local promotions, price-tag timing or channel specifics.

How we handle it

  • By default we collect the chain-wide price; on request, the price at a specific store address (not available for every chain)
  • We store the date, time and source of every price
  • We explain these specifics in the demo, before you start

How onboarding works

We agree the format and delivery method with your team – together or one at a time: cabinet, files, API.

Step 1

Choose the format

The browser-based B2B cabinet, Excel/CSV files, the API or a mix – whatever suits your people and systems.

Step 2

Agree the structure

Which chains, brands, categories and data fields you need, for which period and how often to update.

Step 3

Set up delivery

We issue cabinet or API access and set up the file schedule and the channel: email or your storage.

Step 4

Work with the data

Review prices and promotions in the cabinet, build your own Excel reports or plug the data into BI and business systems.

Onboarding timelines and the list of supported systems are agreed separately.

Let’s agree the data format for your team

Tell us where the data should go – the cabinet, Excel or your own systems. We will show an example in the demo.

Book a demo

We will show you the cabinet using your own category and chains.
